   JOB PURPOSE  
 The Reading Intervention Teacher is responsible for the academic growth of small groups of students. The Reading Intervention Teacher will meet one-on-one or in small groups with students to assess their current level of performance and provide targeted instruction. The Reading Intervention Teacher is responsible for keeping detailed records of their sessions with students and reviewing data.
 
   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
 Work individually or in small groups with students to assess current level of performance.
 Provide targeted instructional that meets the need of each individual student.
 Write lesson plans and analyze data under the direction of the Intervention Coordinator.
 Treat all children with dignity and respect.
