Job Description
Join the University of Toronto Mississauga as a 3rd Class Building Engineer. This role involves operating and maintaining utilities equipment while ensuring the safety of all buildings on campus.
Under the direction of the Assistant Manager Utilities & Elevator Services, you will be responsible for maintaining utilities for UTM. Key tasks include performing regular checks on mechanical equipment, conducting water treatment tests, and performing minor repairs on HVAC systems. Your contribution will ensure that all campus facilities operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment
• Perform minor repairs on systems including HVAC
• Maintain accurate records of utility operations
• Respond to calls during emergencies and off hours
