5G Wireless System Engineer

The Opportunity:

Work collaboratively with a team of researchers, developers, and telecommunications experts. Deploy and maintain small and large-scale telecom lab environments for testing and development. Troubleshoot UE network connection and registration issues via cellular network logs, Wireshark, and QXDM or UE logs. Configure and troubleshoot wireless communications systems using various RF hardware and software such as a spectrum analyzer, Software Defined Radio, and Wireshark to diagnose issues in layers 1-3. Perform vulnerability research, generate reports and brief findings, and contribute to the design of security solutions for mobile telecommunications systems. Leverage comprehension of telecommunications networks, next generation networking concepts, and protocol analysis to aid in vulnerability and security analysis.
