Job Description
Responsibilities
- Sea, port and anchor watches (steering and lookout).
- Maintenance of accommodation watertight doors and fans.
- Mooring, anchors and lifeboat winches.
- Mooring and lifeboat ropes and wires.
- Washing and cleaning of superstructure decks.
- Greasing of ballast valves.
- Ship access and gang way controls.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
- Certificate in performing COP (II/5) from approved nautical Institute.
- Minimum 2 years experience as able bodied seaman on board DP or anchor handling tugs on Offshore Oilfields.
- Good understanding of safe practices related to anchor handling / towing operations and DP.
