Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
:The Accountant, Retail is responsible in assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements, monitoring of the annual budget and forecasting. This role will also be responsible for providing recommendations and guidance on implementing policies, procedures and best practices and other duties as outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, maintain monthly balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations, and monitor the budget with monthly variance analysis and forecasting

Assist Director of Retail in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecast and cost benefit analysis for new retail projects

Prepare year end audit working papers

Prepare and distribute weekly sales flash report to Management and Retail Operations team
