Job Description

We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day finance function within a busy transport and logistics business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchase Ledger processing, supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs
* Sales Ledger, invoicing and customer account management
* Credit Control, chasing overdue payments and resolving queries
* Supporting weekly and monthly payroll using Sage Payroll
* Daily bank reconciliations, expense processing and cash management
* Assisting with month-end activities including journals, accruals, prepayments and reporting
* Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team
* Providing occasional reception and general office support when required
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role
* Strong Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control experience
