Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager for an interim position to lead daily AP operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, processes, and vendor relationships while maintaining accuracy under pressure. This is a hybrid schedule in the Brentwood, TN, area.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide leadership and daily oversight for a team of two Accounts Payable Clerks

+ Manage a high volume of vendor inquiries, responding to and resolving escalated issues in a timely and professional manner

+ Oversee and execute AP payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls

+ Act as the primary Accounts Payable point of contact for internal stakeholders, including business leaders and cross-functional partners

+ Manage complex vendor communications, including reconciliation and resolution of outstanding or aged payables
