Description
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a financial services organization in Oak Brook, Illinois. This Contract to permanent opportunity is suited for a detail-oriented individual who can manage complex cash application work, investigate payment issues, and help maintain accurate customer account balances. The position plays a key role in supporting timely cash posting, resolving exceptions, and partnering with internal teams and customers to keep receivables records accurate and up to date.


Responsibilities:

• Apply incoming customer payments with accuracy and within established timelines to maintain current account activity.

• Examine payment exceptions such as short pays, deductions, credits, and disputed amounts, then determine the appropriate resolution.

• Research unapplied or incorrectly posted cash and take corrective action to align receipts with the proper invoices or accounts.
