Job Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Over 8 years of experience required with primary expertise in IBM P series 9/10 administration.
- Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining AIX systems (versions 7.1, 7.2, 7.3) including hardware such as IBM Power E1050 and P950.
- Install and configure VIOs (Virtual I/O Servers) and HMC (Hardware Management Console).
- Manage installation configuration and migration of LPARs (Logical Partitions).
- Prepare Low‑Level Designs (LLDs) of LPAR profiles.
- Possess knowledge of GPFS (General Parallel File System) cluster management.
- Experience working in NIM (Network Installation Manager) environments including handling mksysb backups and system imaging.
- Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
