Physician - Anesthesiology - Cardiac

Job Details:

• Provide cardiovascular anesthesiology coverage for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases


• TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) certification is required


• Cardiac anesthesiology fellowship is preferred


• Assist with general OR cases in addition to cardiovascular cases as needed


• Adult and geriatric patients only; no pediatric care required


• Cases are hands-on with occasional CRNA supervision responsibilities


• Facility performs approximately 360-450 cardiac cases per year with 2 cardiac surgeons on staff


• Unrestricted overnight and weekend call required; Monday through Friday shifts are 8-10 hours


• Must have completed an approved ACGME or international equivalent CV anesthesia fellowship and achieved at least testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echo...
