Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of all fitness equipment (cardio machines, weight machines, racks, free weights, etc.) to ensure proper functioning and safety
• Conduct preventive maintenance and servicing according to equipment manufacturer guidelines and GoGym standards
• Respond to maintenance tickets and equipment issues reported by gym staff in a timely and efficient manner
• Execute basic repair tasks such as adjusting cables, replacing worn parts, lubricating moving components, and minor electrical or mechanical fixes
• Maintain a maintenance log per gym, tracking inspection dates, issues found, resolution steps, and parts used
• Assist with the setup and installation of new equipment and gym fixtures as needed
• Report any major equipment issues or safety hazards that require third‑party vendor support or replacement
