Higgins Wellington is looking for an experienced and hands on Asphalt Surfacing Supervisor to lead our crews and ensure the safe, efficient and high quality delivery of asphalt surfacing works across the region.
This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast paced operational environment, enjoys problem solving on the go, and is committed to delivering great outcomes for clients, crews and the community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and coordinating weekly and forward work programmes
- Allocating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors across multiple crews and sites
- Leading daily operations and supporting Forepersons with technical and sequencing challenges
- Monitoring site performance and intervening early to manage risks
- Ensuring consistent application of approved methodologies and best practice
