**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
Design and execute complex quantitative analysis, including formulation of analytical hypothesis, sample size projection, choice of methodology, computing, and preparation of manuscripts. Teach biostatistics or data science courses in support of departmental graduate programs.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**

+ Provides statistical or data science support services to UTMB faculty, staff and students.
+ Develops new quantitative methods.
+ Plans, directs and reports statistical analysis of research data.
+ Develops and adapts innovative methodologies which can be used in biomedical studies.
