Assistant Technician

The Assistant Technician is an entry-level technical role within the Aero Engine MRO Division’s Engine Operations Department. This position supports engine maintenance activities by assisting qualified Technicians and senior technical staff across various gated processes and engine programs. The role involves performing basic, non-critical, and preparatory tasks under close supervision, strictly following approved work instructions, safety requirements, and quality procedures. It focuses on learning, skill development, and safe exposure to engine maintenance environments while contributing to operational readiness and shop efficiency. Depending on training progression and business needs, the Assistant Technician may be deployed across Gate 0 & 1, Gate 2, Gate 3 & 4, LEAP, or GEnx areas.
