Job Description
**Responsibilities**
+ Support portfolio construction and implementation for the global EMD team, focused on Asian local markets across rates, bonds and FX
+ Prepare orders and execute trades on a timely basis across electronic and voice platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, MarketAxess, Tradeweb, FXAll), in line with best execution and portfolio/regulatory guidelines
+ Monitor portfolio exposures, performance and underlying risks (duration, curve, FX, liquidity), and recommend adjustments to senior PMs
+ Independently research interest rate and currency drivers across the region, and provide fundamental, valuation and technical intelligence to senior PMs and analysts
+ Analyze and improve global trading processes and promote best practices across the desk
+ Liaise with middle-office and operations to ensure smooth workflow, and support counterparty onboarding and account opening as needed
