Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for this position are serving as DPT program director and department chair. At Springfield College, the role of department chair also includes additional stipends and administrative workload. The position includes teaching and advising as well as participating in scholarly endeavors and providing service within the College and community.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Rank of associate professor or professor

- Earned academic doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD) in physical therapy or a related discipline

- Licensure or licensure-eligible in physical therapy in Massachusetts

- Minimum of 6 years of full-time equivalent experience with at least 3 years as a core faculty member in a CAPTE-accredited physical therapist education program as well as a substantial record of scholarly dissemination and external fund...
