ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Position Summary

As an Athletics Communication team member, participate in planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive Athletics Communications program and services. Participate in developing the strategy for promoting the Ithaca College student-athlete experience to prospective students, alumni, and the Ithaca College community. Serve as the primary liaison to media contacts for select sports. Promote competitions, coaches, athletes, and alumni through written stories, publications, and various media. Provide story ideas and content for marketing communications audiences. Participate in developing long-range projects and strategic planning efforts. Plan, record, and edit professional quality multimedia productions in support of Athletic Communications to include coordinating and performing technical duties in production of videos, broadcasts, podcasts and streaming.
