Key Skills Required
- Strong experience in automotive painting and refinishing
- Knowledge of surface preparation (sanding, masking, priming)
- Expertise in color mixing and paint matching
- Ability to apply base coat, clear coat, and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with paint booth operations and spray equipment
- Experience in handling minor dent finishing before painting
- Knowledge of different paint systems (water-based, solvent-based)
- Ability to perform polishing and buffing to achieve a high-gloss, defect‑free finish
- Skilled in removing paint defects such as swirl marks, dust particles, and orange peel
- Understanding of safety procedures and use of PPE
