Job Description

Summary The Aircrew Program Manager (APM) is responsible for the adequacy of aircrew ground and flight training/testing and standards for specific aircraft of an assigned air carrier. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Principal Operations Inspector (POI). Manages programs on assigned aircraft including designated examiners and/or Aircrew Program Designees (APD). Responsibilities Develops and evaluates flight operations programs for organizations which utilize the newest, most complex aircraft systems, and equipment. The APM is responsible for the oversight of flight operations involving large fleets (usually 30 or more) of turbine powered aircraft engaged in large-scale passenger and/or freight service for nationally and internationally prominent carriers.
