Job Description
**Role Summary/Purpose:**
Reporting to the VP, Tech & Ops Systems Governance Leader, the AVP, Tech & Ops Control Automation Engineer plays a leading role in the automation of industry standard-based control activities that support Synchrony’s operations in the public cloud. This role identifies opportunities for control automation, collaborates with stakeholders on design improvements, and leads the technical build and implementation of these enhanced controls. The successful candidate is a creative problem solver and persuasive communicator with software development experience and a strong background in technology control design and operation in public cloud environments.
