Backend developer - java (hybrid madrid) (Santander)

Overview

UST, a multinational company with more than 35,000 employees, is looking for a Java Backend Developer for a wealth management project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client IT and Business stakeholders to deliver impactful programs.
• Design, develop, deploy, and manage Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful services and domain models.
• Implement automated tests using TDD and BDD.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines and manage DevOps processes.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes, Docker, Helm in a cloud-native environment (Azure).
• Support the transformation initiatives of Julius Baer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven delivery experience in software engineering with industry standards.
