Job Description
Join us on large-scale joint venture projects across the Greater Toronto Area. We’re looking for a skilled blaster who’s ready to take charge, ensure safety, and deliver precision work in urban environments.
Please note: a high-level security clearance will be required to work on these sites.
Salary : As stipulated by the Convention.
- Perform blasting in urban areas near buildings
- Use blasting mats safely and effectively
- Lead and carry out all blasting operations
- Prepare and complete operational reports
- Always apply safe work practices and standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma with on-site experience
- Specialised certification in drilling or blasting
- Experience in shaft sinking and tunnel blasting
- Familiarity with electric detonators (an asset)
- 3–5 years of controlled blasting experience
