Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Safely navigate and operate the launch boat in accordance with maritime regulations, port authority requirements, and company procedures.
- Exercise full command of the vessel and ensure the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo.
- Conduct pre‑departure and post‑voyage inspections to ensure the vessel is seaworthy and fully operational.
- Plan and execute voyages, taking into account weather conditions, tides, navigational hazards, and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations issued by the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA), international maritime conventions, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate vessel records, including logbooks, fuel consumption, maintenance records, and voyage reports.
- Ensure lifesaving appliances, firefighting equipment, navigation systems, communication equipment, and safety gear are maintained in good working condition.
