Boilermaker

Our client is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join the Port Elizabeth team, Maintain and repair fixed plant equipment including conveyors, chutes, hoppers, silos, crushers, screens, handrails, tanks etc Maintain and repair mobile and transport equipment including truck bodies, trailers, skip bins, tippers, loading & excavator buckets, earthmoving & material handling attachments, waste containers etc Manufacture components from engineering drawings such as structural steel, brackets, frames, guards, supports and platforms MIG and stick welding Cutting and grinding Ensure weld quality meets company and engineering standards Conduct routine inspections. Identify defects before failures occur. Report equipment deterioration. Replace worn components. Lubricate where required. Assist with planned maintenance shutdowns.
