Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Bookkeeper to support accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience using SAGE software.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
Perform job costing and track project expenses
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare invoices, lien waivers, and progress billings
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Maintain accurate financial records in SAGE
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Communicate with project managers and vendors regarding financial matters
