Position Summary

This position develops and maintains positive vendor relationships on behalf of the Hospital to ensure ongoing availability of products, supplies, and materials by negotiating prices, terms, and conditions to ensure maintenance of stock levels in accordance with established policies, standards, and accrediting and licensing requirements.

Education

Bachelors in Business or related field or combination of education and experience (Required)

Experience

Two (2) years of purchasing experience with procurement process, including responsibilities for contract negotiation, procurement of capital equipment, inventory, non-stock supplies/items/services, and preparation of proposals, bid analysis, and contracts. (Required)

Five (5) or more years of hospital or healthcare procurement experience. (Preferred)

Certifications

CPM or similar certification (Preferred)
