Job Description
Position Summary
The Buyer Planner is responsible for planning, purchasing, and monitoring material availability to ensure customer demand is met on time while maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan material requirements and execute purchasing activities based on business demand.
- Monitor and follow up on material deliveries between manufacturing plants to ensure on-time availability.
- Provide accurate delivery updates and lead‑time information to the Customer Service team.
- Expedite critical materials to minimize production and customer service disruptions.
- Manage and monitor Backlog and Past Due orders, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Plan and procure materials for both Make‑to‑Stock (MTS) and Make‑to‑Order (MTO) products.
