Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Buyer to join our team based at our office in Staverton, Gloucestershire to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What will you be doing?
You'll be responsible for quality, cost and delivery performance for production procurement, ensuring the purchased parts and/or services are supplied/contracted on time to support the business requirements in line with business system. You'll also be required to support multiple UK sites with contracts.
You'll lead specific supplier relationships, manage the introduction of new suppliers with the support of the SQA team, assess and manage the supply risks with various functional areas identifying and implement countermeasures to mitigate or eliminate the risk of supply.
