CanAtom EHS Manager for Safety Strategies

Lead safety strategies at CanAtom as the EHS Manager, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement within the nuclear refurbishment project. This role blends management with hands-on training initiatives.
As EHS Manager, you will guide and support EHS Advisors and management, developing essential safety systems tailored to project needs. You will be instrumental in overseeing risk mitigation and environmental management plans, ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance. Mentoring and conducting safety training for all employees will be critical to your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct development and implementation of safety management systems
• Oversee environmental and health safety training for teams
• Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections
• Facilitate effective communication of safety policies

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Health and Safety or equivalent experience
