Job Summary Perform quality carpentry related job in ship building and ship repairs. Comply with yard safety requirements. Perform carpentry related jobs in the most productive method.
Key Responsibilities Comply with Supervisor and Foreman's instructions and perform to achieve quality works safely, within the stipulated completion time. Strictly follow all steps in risk assessments and attend the RA briefing before commencement of work. Understanding of job requirements before start work. Enquire with superior if in doubt & regarding of safety & quality issue. Able to understand the types of materials & grades. Ensure personal safety and safety of others. Follow rules and regulation and inspire others to do so. Ensure personal tools & equipment are maintained & good conditions. Cooperate with other trade for sequential work flow and smoother job completion within given schedule. Able to understand reading the basic carpentry drawings.
