Job Description
Operates, maintains, and monitors all electrical distribution systems, boilers, chillers, air handling equipment, vacuum pumps, medical air compressors, and associated equipment. Operates and understands the energy management system. Performs building maintenance, including plumbing, plumbing systems, and general maintenance tasks. Assists all vendors/contractors with required maintenance for all life-safety systems as needed. Rotating on-call and or non-regular shift may be required. Disposes of hazardous waste in appropriate receptacles. Ensures hazardous waste containers are labeled appropriately and covered at all times. Notes date and time and transports filled waste container to proper storage area for disposal. Arranges for transport and disposal of hazardous wastes (if applicable). Utilizes computers to perform Computer Maintenance Management Program (CMMP) to receive, track and close-out work orders. Maintains all necessary all documentation and testing logs to ensure compl...
