Position Summary
Surgical Technologists assists in the organization and daily function of the operating room in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards as well as Center policies and procedures. Assists the nurses and physicians in delivering the highest standard of patient care available.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the opening of the operating room (OR) and preparation for assigned cases;
+ Scrub on surgical procedures as assigned;
+ Anticipate the needs of the physician and has equipment, medical gases and supplies readily available for all procedures;
