Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Responsibilities Develop and document procedures for production and maintenance processes that use chemicals, such as electroplating, chemical etching, and industrial cleaning. Investigate and analyze equipment failures and faulty products to determine the root cause of breakdowns in chemical production and direct corrective actions to ensure compliance with engineering specifications. Research and evaluate newly developed chemical processes to lead modernization programs that increase productivity, conserve resources, and incorporate new technology into existing operations.
