Job Description

Responsible for communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across IT Architecture the Old Mutual Rest of Africa Businesses/ Segments.The respective IT portfolios must be kept in line with the OML Enterprise IT Architecture and governance to ensure fitness for purpose and compliance.


  • Defines a solution and ensure that it Meets the business and non-functional requirements, based on DevOps, Cloud Based and SRE practices and aligns to the guidelines laid down by the Enterprise Architecture principles and patterns.

  • Contributes to definition, refinement and documentation of future-fit Solution Architecture patterns and guidelines.

  • Focus on the technical and business feasibility of a solution and ensure that it fits within well-established patterns and guidelines as agreed to by the Enterprise Architecture principles.
