Cloud Optimization Architect

Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level Cloud Optimization Architect to lead the financial and technical evolution of an enterprise, Azure-first cloud environment. This role owns optimization of a $1M+ annual Azure spend through Infrastructure‑as‑Code, automated governance, and data‑driven FinOps practices. The architect will design and enforce Azure policies and guardrails, integrate cost controls into CI/CD pipelines, and partner closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure cloud resources are deployed efficiently and responsibly. This position also supports cost‑effective resiliency and observability strategies, including optimization of data platforms such as Azure Databricks, with a strong focus on long‑term scalability, governance, and financial accountability.
