Job Description
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling & turning.
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
- Load and unload raw materials and equipment.
- Record all machine related actions by completing production and quality logs, keeping detailed records for equipment and procedures.
- Perform necessary maintenance, coolant monitoring and cleaning of equipment daily.
- Inspect finished product to ensure that results of the machining process align with client expectations.
- Perform general machine troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Perform in-process measurement and visual inspection to ensure the quality of product meets customer requirements.
