Job Description
**Job Overview**
We are seeking a **Skilled CNC Machinist** with strong manual lathe and setup experience to join a small, team-oriented machining job shop. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the ability to go direct in as little as 30 days based on performance and progression.
This role is not an operator position — we are specifically looking for machinists who can independently set up machines, perform tool changes, and run jobs with minimal supervision.
**Key Responsibilities**
Machine Setup & Operation
+ Perform full or partial setups on CNC and manual lathes (primary focus)
+ Execute frequent tool changes and insert adjustments
+ Operate machining equipment, including manual lathes, CNC lathes, and mills
+ Load and run parts while monitoring quality and output
+ Maintain efficient production flow in a job shop environment
