The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC and manual machine tools, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components to specified tolerances and dimensions. This role involves interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and sketches, using a variety of machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Work Environment
This role is based in a day-shift machining environment operating Monday to Friday, with standard hours of 6:00 . to 2:30 . and flexible options such as 7:00 . to 3:30 . or 8:00 . to 4:30 . as needed.
