Custom Metal Contracting Ltd. is a family owned and operated company located in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented CNC Programmer specifically experienced with AXYZ routers and ACM (Aluminum Composite Material). You will be the bridge between architectural drawings and our shop floor, transforming CAD designs into high‑precision building panels.
What You’ll Do
- Program: Use AXYZ PANELBuilder to create nested layouts and toolpaths for ACM cladding.
- Optimize: Maximize material yield (aiming for 80%+) and minimize machine cycle times.
- Draft: Clean and prep architectural AutoCAD files (DXF/DWG) for CNC production.
- Troubleshoot: Assist operators with A2MC controller settings, tool offsets, and vacuum zone management.
