Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer
Job Type: Days based, Perm
Location: Aldershot
Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:30 – 15:15 / Fri 6:00-13:00
Pay: £20-£25ph DOE
Main Purpose of Job:
The role will involve programming, setting and operating various machinery (including CNC, Mazak, etc.), to set up and prepare materials and tooling for upcoming jobs, working from engineering drawings to produce precision spec components for clients in the aerospace and automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set and operate CNC turning/mill machines;
Change machine setting from one job to another within a set time frame;
Ability to read and understand programs;
Able to use micrometres, verniers and other inspection equipment to check work to drawing dimensions and validation sheets;
Meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately ...
