About the role

Ngā Hapori Ngaruru is a community‑led development kaupapa from Community Think, working in partnership with Neighbours Aotearoa to deepen participation culture – a way of working that is less about plans and reports, and more about people, relationships, and local residents making things happen in their own neighbourhood.

We’re looking for a Community Weaver to help activate the community around Hamlin Park in Mount Wellington, Auckland. Weavers are paid local people who weave their community together – creating opportunities for neighbours to meet, connect and get involved. This role is all about supporting the residents who live, work and play around Hamlin Park to connect with one another, and exploring how Hamlin Park itself can become a hub for grassroots neighbourhood life.
