Comptable junior / Junior Accountant (Montreal Office)

Role Summary

Junior Accountant in the Management Company Accounting team at Losange Finance. Reports to Team Lead, owns full accounting cycle for VC/PE management company clients: transaction coding, bank reconciliations, payroll, tax remittances, draft financial statements. Hands‑on, client‑facing: owns files, communicates daily, delivers accurate, on‑time results. Works in digital environment using QuickBooks Online, Dext, Plooto, Financial Cents, embraces automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full accounting cycle for a portfolio of management company clients.
• Record and code all transactions according to each client’s chart of accounts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post adjusting journal entries (accruals, prepayments, depreciation).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable as required.
• Calculate and file GST/HST/QST remittances on schedule.
