Job Description

Our Transmission group is currently looking to add a Construction Supervisor - Grounding to our team, based on the Waasigan Transmission Line Construction Project in Northern Ontario.

Please Note: this is a field based position in Northern Ontario. Successful candidates must be willing to work shifts based in the field.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Grounding activities and crew members (up to 10 people)
  • Ensure compliance with Valard’s safety Policies and Procedures
  • Complete daily paperwork relating to jobsite, including timesheets, quality reports, field reports, etc.
  • Coach and mentor employees to develop technical skills and on Valard’s safety policies and procedure
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures as well as safety program requirements and construction quality practices
