BACKGROUND 

Since , the EMPOWER Project has been implemented to strengthen sustainable cocoa farming communities through an integrated approach that combines economic empowerment, child protection, women's leadership, financial inclusion, youth engagement, and multi stakeholder collaboration. Throughout four years of implementation, the project has generated numerous stories of change across communities, local governments, private sector partners, and civil society organizations. Beyond delivering project outputs and outcomes, EMPOWER has contributed to strengthening community resilience and creating lasting systems that continue beyond the project period. As the project approaches completion in August , Save the Children Indonesia intends to produce a EMPOWER Journey Book documenting the journey, lessons, achievements, and human stories behind the EMPOWER Project.
