Job Description

• Plan the project: Create a timeline and budget, and estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment
• Manage the project: Hire and train subcontractors, and manage existing staff
• Communicate with clients: Meet with clients to discuss the project, answer questions, and provide advice
• Ensure safety: Make sure the job site is safe for workers, and follow laws and regulations
• Inspect the work: Check the work throughout the project to ensure it meets the client's needs
• Apply for permits: Obtain the necessary building permits and licenses
• Purchase materials: Source and buy the materials and equipment needed for the project
• Manage subcontractors: Negotiate with subcontractors on behalf of the client
