The Opportunity

Altus Group is looking for a Cost Consultant specializing in Mechanical services to join our Development Advisory division at our Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate quantities and/or measurements of specific building elements based upon drawings and/or other design documentation for detailed and/or conceptual estimates.
• Prepare cost estimates based on narratives, design brief and conceptual design drawings in both CIQS elemental and Uniformate estimates.
• Review pricing for change orders to ensure accurate cost estimations.
• Review and guide measurement of project statistics/functional areas.
• Ensure completion of project descriptions and assumptions.
• Complete design efficiency analysis, along with full trade and elemental take‑off.
• Prepare front‑end cost reports to support cost estimates.
