Court Registry Officer – Christchurch High Court (Permanent, Fulltime)

As a Court Registry Officer, you will work with a team responsible for the successful operation of the Court. You will liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including defendants, witnesses, family members, Oranga Tamariki, lawyers, and police officers, and communicate confidently with judges within the courtroom and their chambers.

Responsibilities

• Court Taking – Facilitate smooth operation of the Court, introduce judges (in English and Te Reo Māori), collaborate in courtroom and chambers, manage jurors, and handle general administration.
• Customer Service – Provide onsite customer service to court‑related queries via face‑to‑face, phone, or email.
