Job Description
Customs General Supervisor
Living in Mexicali: Currently Mandatory
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing IMMEX programs, and deep knowledge of related Mexican customs legislation.
- Strong experience with HTS classification, origin and valuation analysis, and compliance reporting.
- Ability to interpret and apply USMCA/T-MEC and other relevant trade agreements.
- Experience managing customs audits and dealing with Mexican customs authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Customs Administration, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Law, or related field; a postgraduate degree is desirable.
- 10+ years direct experience in customs, import/export, or international trade within a maquiladora or similar manufacturing environment.
- Conversational English.
