Job Description
JOB TITLE: Data Center Technician
LOCATION: Austin, TX Onsite
DURATION: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire
RATE: $45/Hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install and configure hardware for enterprise servers, including cabling infrastructure.
- Perform hardware break/fix repairs by replacing Field Replaceable Units (FRUs).
- Handle rack installations, such as positioning racks, managing cabling, powering up systems, and transferring servers to internal provisioning teams.
- Diagnose and fix telecommunications connectivity problems.
- Identify issues with and replace network switch hardware.
- Collaborate using a shared ticketing system monitored by various internal service teams and stakeholders.
