Job Description
The Migration Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and validating end‑to‑end data migration activities across on‑premise and cloud environments. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise in ETL database technologies and migration frameworks, along with the ability to handle complex data transformation and modernization journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute data migration strategies including extraction, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL).
- Hands‑on ETL work with SSIS, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL to deliver high‑quality migration outcomes.
- Perform impact analysis, data mapping, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Optimize and troubleshoot ETL jobs, SQL queries, pipelines, and batch processes.
